In 2023, Quodes approached BITARD to develop two complementary types of product imagery: precise studio renders on a clean white background and a smaller set of full-scale contextual scenes. The studio images were designed to present the furniture with maximum clarity, while the larger environments gave the same pieces a spatial and atmospheric context without losing the product as the focus.
From white studio to full scene
The brief moved between two visual modes. On white, the work is restrained and catalogue-driven: geometry, materials and proportions need to read immediately. In the full scenes, the same furniture becomes part of a complete interior composition, with architecture, light and material atmosphere supporting the object rather than competing with it.
